Sketch post
I've been hoarding my sketches from everyone, but I'm happy with this one. It's a watercolor study of this gorgeous view of the valley as a large misty cloud covered half of it. It's funny. I've always joked around about how the French have this secret to being amazing at everything artistic and creative. Now that I'm here, absorbing everything around me in Lacoste and especially Paris, I'm not surprised at why their work is so phenomenal and powerful...everything around them is so amazing...whether it's the light from the country or the sculptures on the street squares and all the amazing artists around them. It's a an artists' community of synergy. :) This study abroad is the most inspirational, yet humbling experience I've ever been a part of. We've got a lot of catching up to do, America.

Man, it's like you need a bigger and bigger canvas to keep catching all of the landscape!
This is gorgeous! I want to see all of your other sketches too! XD
I'd live in the sky too. But with lots of chocolate croissants, bread and butter. ;)
Love this!! I'm so excited for you!! Amazing work being done by you, in you, and through you!! Cherish it all!
